G.B. Paravia & Cia. was founded by Giovanni Battista Paravia in Turin, Italy, in 1802. During the 20th century it was a producer of textbooks, materials and demonstration devices for the teaching of experimental science. In 2000, the company merged with Edizioni Scholastiche Bruno Mondadori of Milan, and in 2007 merged with the publisher Pearson. Today the company is known as Pearson Italia.<\/p>\n
