Elke Einsmann was born in Brewen, Belgium, and lived in Czechoslovakia and Germany for most of her youth. She settled in the United Kingdom where she became a renowned so called “na\u00efve” folk art painter. She has had dozens of exhibits at galleries in Europe and the United States primarily during the 1980s and 1990s. Her works are in various museum collections including MIDAN (Museum on International Na\u00efve Art), Vicq, France, and International Museum d\u2019ART Naif Anatole Jacovsky, Nice, France.<\/p>\n
