Also called a gunner&#8217;s level, it was used to align a gun in its required elevation angle.<\/p>\n<p>E.R. Watts &amp; Son is a leading British maker of mathematical and optical instruments, established in 1856 by Edwin Watts (1833-1901) and still in business today as Hall and Watts Defense Optics.
