Each flower was drawn by J.J. Jung, member of the Royal Society for Horticulture in Paris, from the varieties grown in the gardens and hothouses of Berlèse, an Italian botanist who became the world’s leading authority on the subject. The subtle distinctions of many of the hundreds of varieties of camellias classified by Berlèse are beautifully represented with scientific accuracy in this authoritative series of prints, through the use of the sophisticated stipple engraving technique.

Product Description Continues Below

[4226,983,6944,6790,6882,6883
1888,3353,900,3354,3356,1512,3357,3133,2435,701,3355,3352,1425,3161,3358,2070,1912
0":"post-14287","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-bedroom-room-decor","7":"product_cat-natural-history-art","8":"product_cat-dining-room","9":"product_cat-garden-room","10":"product_cat-mothers-day","11":"product_cat-valentines-day","12":"product_tag-beaux","13":"product_tag-berlese","14":"product_tag-botanical","15":"product_tag-camellia","16":"product_tag-description","17":"product_tag-engraving","18":"product_tag-figures","19":"product_tag-flower","20":"product_tag-genre","21":"product_tag-history","22":"product_tag-iconographie","23":"product_tag-laurent","24":"product_tag-natural","25":"product_tag-nature","26":"product_tag-rares","27":"product_tag-stipple","28":"product_tag-studies","29":"post","30":"post-with-thumbnail","31":"post-with-thumbnail-large","33":"first","34":"instock","35":"product-type-simple
["GET
