Original illustration art designs, in the form of series of swatches, apparently for textiles or wallpaper for a child’s room. The motifs, from upper left are candlesticks, small red flowers, men with trumpets against a striped background, stylized birds, color wheels, yellow storks, Christmas trees, green rabbits, and a toddler with a baseball bat. The designs are signed and dated. On the back the artist’s address is given as Westboro, Massachusetts. Other known extant works by the artist include a poster design for the Boston Stage Society/ Peabody Playhouse, and a magazine cover titled Old Trails.
Condition: Generally very good with the usual overall toning, wear, handling, minor abrasions associated with working illustration art.
