This humorous scene of implied seduction shows a “worm’s-eye view” of a woman standing on a path in a park, cropped so that only the back of her spike heels, seamed stockings and hem of her dress are visible in the foreground. A blushing multi-colored cartoon caterpillar emerges from the dirt beneath her feet as a Yale student wearing a letter sweater and smoking a pipe approaches in the distance.
Condition: Generally very good, with usual expected light toning and wear.
