Unusual miniature desk-top chest cabinet box. It has a faux-leather book front door with five leather book spines, opening to reveal four drawers each with a leather front having gilt tooled borders. The box is raised on flattened bun feet. Presumably it was made for jewelry or other valuables, writing accessories, or collectibles.

Condition: Generally good with the usual overall toning, wear, handling. Some staining and discoloration to leather especially on top, but unobtrusive.
