Michael Scully
This Is Texas: A Photographic Tour of the Greatest State
The Steck Company, Austin, Texas: 1936
Quarto, photographic cloth covers

Signed on the inside in facsimile by the governor of Texas and filled with numerous halftone images, usually two or three per page, from the University of Texas to longhorn cattle. As an interesting aside, This Is Texas figures in philatelic history: a photograph of the El Paso Mission in this book was among the sources for the illustration on the Fort Bliss Centennial Issue stamp in 1948.
