Who we are
Our website address is: http://www.georgeglazer.com/.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact Information
Personal data (name, address, phone number, email address, account information for payment processing) that we collect from you is used solely by the George Glazer Gallery to communicate with you concerning sales inquiries or to facilitate purchase of items from our gallery. You may be added to our eNewsletter subscriber list to receive monthly notices regarding featured sale items, but will be unsubscribed on request.
Testimonials
We publish some of our customers’ comments about the Gallery on our Testimonials page. We will only use initials, city, and state or country, along with a thumbnail image of the purchase, unless the customer has already attached their full name to the testimonial in a public forum such as a Google rating or blog post. We will not share your testimonial on our website if you instruct us not to.
Who we share your data with
We do not share data with third party companies, except as needed to send our eNewsletter, process payments, or ship items that you have purchased or rented from us.
Analytics
We use SimplyCast, an email marketing company, to send our eNewsletter. We upload only subscriber names and email addresses to our account database, which is for our use only. SimplyCast provides a report to us listing bounced emails, unsubscribes, who opened the email and who clicked on a link in the email. For information on how SimplyCast protects customer data, see https://www.simplycast.com/interactive-marketing-support/faqs/how-does-simplycast-protect-customer-data/
We also use Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights, a WordPress plug-in that aggregates data to give us an overall picture of how our site is used (number of page views, popular search terms, the countries our visitors come from, etc.) but does not provide any data about individuals.
How long we retain your data
We keep the contact information of our customers until it is no longer valid. We retain payment information until the purchase has been completed.
What rights you have over your data
If you have contacted us or done with business with us, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Contact worldglobe@georgeglazer.com to process any privacy requests.
