Deco Lighthouse

Art Deco illustration of a lighthouse with its powerful beacons of light radiating across the darkened sky.  It is executed in the characteristic style of the period -- smoothly delineated forms with strong contrasts of light and shadow.  As such, it relates to works by Edward Hopper, the American Precisionist painters Charles Sheeler and Charles Demuth, and Sàndor Bernàth.

Condition:  Generally very good with the usual overall light toning and wear.  Margins with pencil guidelines (used for lining up for commercial art use), and a bit of soiling, typical for working illustration art, can be matted out.
