Architectural drawing of a wine tasting room with a vaulted ceiling, by Giovanni Pasanella, who co-founded the New York City architecture firm now known as Pasanella + Klein Stolzman + Berg, in 1964.  Pasanella conveys the deep perspective by a web of intersecting and converging lines over warm hues of orange, purple and the tan of the drawing paper. Seagram & Sons commissioned leading architects and designers to design furniture for the Seagram Building, a landmark of Modernist architecture in New York City.   Pasanella & Klein produced marble and stainless steel tables for rooms finished in travertine marble and veneered walls.

Although Giovanni Pasanella has retired, Pasanella + Klein Stolzman + Berg is still active today, recognized for humanistic values of their founder, which they maintain today, merging a strong formal design sense with attention to the functional, historical and social contexts of buildings.

Condition:  Generally very good with only minor toning and wear.
