We thought it amusing that Google mailed a letter addressed to Joannes de Laet, Editor, George Glazer Gallery, at our postal address in New York City, with a $100 coupon towards the purchase of Google AdWords (below).
A map from the de Laet atlas Beschrijvinghe van West-Indiën is offered on our web site: http://www.georgeglazer.com/maps/florida/delaetflorida.html. Apparently, Google's computer-generated letter software inferred that he is now employed as Editor at our gallery.
Main problem: Joannes de Laet, former Director of the Dutch West Indies Company, died in 1649.
Nonetheless, as a globally minded businessman, we think he would have appreciated the coupon.
