Mountainous topography shown. Decorative pictorial border features totem pole motifs, local sports including skiing and fishing, and large evergreen trees. Mermaid-form compass in Pacific Ocean. According to the cartouche, "Neither Europe nor Asia nor South America has a prospect in which sea and woods and snow mountains are so united in a landscape."
