The terrestrial globe within calibrated copper-finished full meridian, and having metal polar hour discs, within a walnut stand in the Georgian taste, the horizon band with no zodiac/calendar as issued, the four slightly tapered legs joined by upraised shaped stretchers united by piral-turned central standard supporting the meridian.

Oceans colored green, geographical entities in a variety of muted colors, with detailed cartography. Mountain ranges shaded and peaks indicated by triangles. Squares and circles of various sizes and shades indicate cities by population. Lines of various shades and hatching show international boundaries, state boundaries, steamship lines, railroads, and canals.

In the post World War I period, with the expansion of air travel and world communication, there was an increased consciousness of the world as an international community. Weber Costello marketed this Internationalist Political Globe on this theme, showing international steamship lines and boundaries, with detailed cartography.
