Two large fortune wheel games, in original boxes, in the form of the man at the mill, or gypsy, holding a wand pointing to a spinning fortune wheel with three concentric circles of fortune cards. A large instruction sheet explains the meaning of the cards. Decorative graphics on the box and the fortune-telling device.
Condition: Each generally very good with the usual light toning, wear, soiling, worn edges. Old Mill has edge-wear on the box and a small corner piece is lacking. The instruction sheet had tape repairs, pencil markings, and numerous creases, but is clear throughout the text area. Gypsy has minor edge wear and indentations on the box. The instruction sheet is separated into two sheets, creased and torn at the edges, and has a small hole, but is clear throughout the text area.
Provenance: U.S. Games Systems, Inc. and the Stuart and Marilyn R. Kaplan Playing Card Collection.
