Oversized sandglass, of typical hourglass form, in an ebonized (i.e. black lacquered) wooden frame. The two yellow-tinted hourglass sections are joined by a central ring and supported by two roundel ends joined by three baluster turned supports. It stands on either end on three ivory-colored wooden disk feet. The sand falls for an hour and forty minutes.
Condition: Generally very good, with only minor wear. Glass very good with some original glass blower’s bubbles and flecks.
