Whimsical pictorial map of Seattle packed with comical illustrations showing points of interest and recreational activities, including Boeing Field and Plant, Hydroplane Racing, Sick's Stadium, Northgate Mall, Sand Point Naval Station, Ballard, Government Canal Locks, Seattle Sea Fair, Salmon Derby, Lake Washington Floating Bridge, Husky Crew Team, and the Pioneer Square Totem Pole. Numerous humorous illustrations such as a mermaid and King Neptune in the water representing the Seattle Sea Fair. On Rainier Beach, a woman chases her boyfriend as he runs off with a beach ball. The map was made after the opening of the Northgate Mall, in 1950, but before Interstate 5 opened in 1967, and probably before its construction began around 1958.
