Landscape view of New York City showing Collect Pond, based on an original drawing in the Metropolitan Museum. The pond was popular for skating, fishing and boating in the late 18th Century. It was drained and filled in about 1811 and is currently in the vicinity of Foley Square.

The Society of Iconophiles, organized in 1894 by Grolier Club member William Loring
Andrews for the purpose of producing fine prints of New York subjects, was an important focus of Club activity until the Society ceased activity in 1939. The Grolier Club maintains the organization's archive.
